Tonya was elected as Vice Chair of the Libertarian Party of Indiana at their 2023 March Convention, then stepped down July 21st to run for Lt. Governer.
Tonya was the Libertarian candidate for U.S. House of Representatives, Indiana’s Ninth District in 2020 and 2022 (Tonya for Congress). Tonya is Pro-Life and was endorsed by the Liberty Pro Life group and the Libertarian Party Pro-Life Caucus. In 2020, which was also a U.S. Presidential election, Tonya had the best candidacy (highest Libertarian percentage in a 3-way race) in the Country for a Libertarian running for Congress.
