How to Register to Vote
- Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must be at least 18 years old on or before Election Day.
- Must be a resident of Indiana.
- Must not be currently imprisoned for a felony conviction.
Steps to Register:
Online Registration:
- Visit the Indiana Voter Portal.
- Follow the prompts to complete your registration online.
Mail-In Registration:
- Download the Indiana Voter Registration Form.
- Fill out the form and mail it to your county’s voter registration office. Addresses can be found on the form.
In-Person Registration:
- Visit your county’s voter registration office, Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV), or other designated agencies to register in person.
Registration Deadlines:
- Ensure your registration is completed 29 days before Election Day.

Voting Methods:
Early Voting:
- In-Person Early Voting: Available from 28 days before the election at designated early voting locations.

Absentee Voting by Mail:
- Eligibility: You must meet certain criteria such as being out of town on Election Day, having a disability, or being at least 65 years old.
- Application Process:

Election Day Voting:
