Rep. Miller is a lifelong resident of Elkhart County. His focus is the retention and expansion of business interests in the county to help grow its economy. He chairs the Government and Regulatory Reform Committee in the State House, sits on the board of directors for the Builders Association of Elkhart County, and holds a directorship at the Indiana Builders Association.

Assembly member Miller was born and raised in Elkhart County where he attended Concord High School and Goshen College. After graduation, Miller began his career as a homebuilder, eventually working at Tailor Made Homes, LLC in northern Indiana. He also owns Creekside Realty, LLC and White Pines Properties, LLC.
