Jim Banks

Candidate, Indiana Senate

Prior to serving in the U.S. Congress, Banks worked in the real estate and construction businesses. He began serving in the U.S. Navy Reserve in 2012. Banks served on the Whitley County Council from 2008 to 2010 and in the Indiana State Senate from 2010 to 2016. He was the first Indiana legislator to take an extended leave of absence to fulfill service as an active member of the military. He deployed to Afghanistan in 2014 and returned in 2015.

Jim Banks is a native Hoosier and the only true conservative running for Indiana’s U.S. Senate seat. Jim believes that to get America back on track we must reverse Biden’s destructive policies by securing our border, protecting the sanctity of life, defending religious freedom, and putting an end to reckless spending in Washington. Jim has demonstrated his commitment to common-sense, conservative Hoosier values throughout his career of service – from being deployed to Afghanistan to being elected to the U.S. House of Representatives– and he will take those conservative values to the U.S. Senate.
